Doris Lessing
Hello, and Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Amelia Bergum. I am thrilled to be a new teacher to Hardin High School, and I have had such a great welcome from all of the Bulldogs! This year, I am teaching Freshmen and Senior English. I love reading, writing, and mostly creative writing. I hope to be able to find some component of English that excites all students. I have a lot planned for the year, and I hope that the students are as ready as I am.
I will be using the site to make notice of any larger projects that we have going on. I will also highlight some of the texts that we are using. If the texts are available for free on the Internet, I will also include a link where you can access it at home.
I try very hard to make myself available to parents and students. If you are needing to speak with me, I encourage you to email or call me. I do have the ability to have meetings with you either during the day or after school is out.
I encourage you to be a large part of your student's education. I also encourage students to learn self-reliance and to take ownership of their education.
