The Crow Reservation is in south-central Montana, bordered by Wyoming on the south with its northwestern boundary about 10 miles from Billings, MT. It has an area of 3,565 square miles, and consists of five main communities: Wyola, Lodge Grass, Garryowen, Crow Agency, and St. Xavier/Fort Smith.
Crow Fair is held every year on the third week-end of August. It is also known as the Tepee Capital of the World. Every year the number of participants who put their tepees up to celebrate Crow Fair increases tremendously.
