National Farm to School Photo Contest Winners!
Local fame is awarded to first grade students, Baylee Fisher and Zayleigh Schwend, winners of the first Nutritious and Delicious photo contest, for their Rogue Carrot snapshot. As the legend is told, the carrot seeds were planted on a windy day and these two found this large, lone carrot far from the planted patch. The smiles show how much fun it is to grow with friends! As the winners, Baylee and Zayleigh win farmer fame and a gallon of local apple cider to celebrate their success.
