NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
HARDIN SCHOOL DISTRICTS 17H & 1

Dear Staff, Students, Parents and Community Members,
At approximately 11:40 a.m. today, Hardin School District 17H & 1 learned of a firearm discharge incident in the community of Crow Agency that occurred sometime between 10:45 a.m. 11:15 a.m. this morning. Upon receiving this information, Crow Agency School went into immediate lockdown in order to preserve the safety of our students and staff. We have and will remain in contact with Big Horn County and BIA to ensure that an open path of communication remains in effect.
As of this time, 12:28 p.m., activities have resumed back to normal in Crow Agency and our school is no longer in lockdown, as the BIA has determined that the threat no longer exists in or around Crow Agency or the community of Hardin.
