Hardin Middle School/High School Spectator Guidelines Effective 09/21/2020

In seeking to strike a balance between the parents desire to attend home sporting events and the Districts responsibility to take every measure possible to ensure student, staff and spectator safety, we can agree that the foremost priority should be the opportunity for students to compete in a manner that is as safe for all involved. Participants in this effort also realize that the desire to have large crowds at sporting events is understandable, but also brings significant public health risk that could cause disease spread and imperil other school operations.

The District would like to THANK ALL Hardin Bulldog parents and participants to last week’s home volleyball match versus Laurel for maintaining social distancing requirements and respectfully following the guidelines that have been put forth by state and local authorities. Based upon those actions and the reevaluation of our facilities, we will now look to expand our spectator guidelines effective September 21, 2020.

WE CONTINUE TO ASK OUR PARENTS AND THOSE OF THE VISITING TEAMS TO FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES OUTLINED BELOW IN ORDER TO PROTECT NOT ONLY OUR STUDENTS AND OUR STAFF, BUT ALSO ALL PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS. WE CONTINUE TO EVALUATE OUR ATTENDANCE PROTOCOL WITH GUIDANCE FROM THE BIG HORN COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTEMENT IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR SCHOOL OPEN AND OUR ACTIVITIES INTACT – THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION!
