Honoring Culture and History in the Classroom
Laurel Hitchborn, American History teacher at Hardin High School, invited Randall Tall Bull, a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, to speak to her history classes. Students explored the significance of the bison, culturally and spiritually, and gained a deeper understanding by seeing and examining parts of the animal up close.
The hands-on experience sparked curiosity and engagement, with students eagerly asking questions and exploring the items on the table. The students truly appreciated having a speaker in their class, making the lesson even more meaningful.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, we proudly recognize and celebrate the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our local veterans.
Join us at 2:00 p.m. in the Hardin Middle School Auditorium for a special Veterans Day Celebration. Veterans will receive a small gift to show our appreciation, and there will be a light snack to enjoy.
A heartfelt thank you for your service to all who have served our country. Your bravery and commitment inspire our students and community every day.

On Thursday evening, the administration was made aware that a student had made a threat toward the school. Parents of the student and witnesses were contacted, and the Hardin Police Department was immediately notified. Officers ensured that all school entrances were covered Friday morning and assisted in interviewing the student and parent. We appreciate the support and partnership of the Hardin Police Department in keeping our school community safe.
In a separate incident Friday morning, students were entering the Middle School through the metal detectors and a student handed the middle school staff a small can of pepper spray. The staff, not being aware of what they had, accidentally discharged the pepper spray. The staff and students in the immediate vicinity of the spray had burning eyes and trouble swallowing. Paramedics were called and were able to check each individual that was showing symptoms. All students that were effected were checked and their families notified and none were transported to the hospital by ambulance. Some staff members were checked and taken to the hospital.

Congratulation to Connie Michael at Crow Agency School. She has been awarded the 2025 Unsung Heroes award through Voya Financial of a total of $27,000! This money will be used to support Mrs. Michael's idea to bring Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts , and Math education to Crow Agency School.

We will be holding a XC State Championship Celebration on Wednesday Nov 5th at 9:00 AM in the High School Gym. We will be celebrating the girls Back to Back to Back to Back State Championship and the Boys Back to Back state championships. All are invited to attend. The High School will be running an AM morning pep assembly schedule that day.
