Big Horn Academy seniors were given the opportunity of a lifetime on Wednesday as they participated in a buffalo hunt. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this experience possible.

A special thank you to Crow Tribe Bison Management, the Crow Tribal Fish and Game Department, Chairman Whiteclay, the entire Big Horn Academy staff, Bianka Rock Above, Elle Ross, Noel Two Leggins, Ryan Bad Bear, Chaz Bends, and Kirby Yarlott for their support, guidance, and commitment to providing this meaningful opportunity for our students.

Sports Physicals for the 2026-27 school year. 5th-11th grade students who are planning to take part in any sports or activities physical June 5th

Save The Date!! It is that time of year again! Swim lessons will be starting on June 8th. Sign ups will open on Monday June 1st. No early registrations. Registrations must be completed in person.

The HCAC is looking for new lifeguards for the upcoming Summer months and the following school year. If you are interested in working as a Lifeguard please pick up applications at the DO. There will be a limit on spots available (10), please reach out to Sarah Passes if you are interested.

Lunch Menu for Week of May 11th

Attention Intermediate School Parents and Guardians: Summer school registration forms go home today. If you would like your child to participate, the forms are due back to the school by May 21st.

A reminder to 8th grade parents to have your student bring in their baby pictures to be shown at the 8th grade promotion ceremony on May 28th at 10:00. This is wording in our handbook for eligibility to participate in the ceremony. Please make sure you check your students grades in Infinite Campus

EIGHTH GRADERS’ LAST DAY
May 28th is the last day of school for all eighth-graders. Students may participate in a final awards assembly and other activities if they have not failed more than four classes in a quarter during the school year. Students who do not meet the criteria will not participate in the promotion ceremony.

Repeated major violations of the discipline matrix may result in not participating in the promotion ceremony.

Today marks the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and People (MMIW/P).

In honor of this day, and to recognize and bring attention to the ongoing MMIW/P crisis, the Hardin High School Indian Club—led by sponsor Robin Shield—along with Hardin High School students, are participating in an awareness walk.

We stand in solidarity to honor those impacted, uplift their stories, and raise awareness within our community.

Our final cooking class of the school year was a great success! Everyone loved the dishes, and it was wonderful to hear such positive feedback. We’ll be starting up again next school year—looking forward to seeing you all then. Have a fantastic summer!
