Dear Hardin High School Parents and Guardians,
I am writing to inform you about a recent incident involving a social media threat made towards our school. Please know that we take such matters very seriously and are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students and staff.
Upon learning of the threat, we immediately contacted law enforcement and have been working closely with them to investigate the situation. We are grateful for their swift response and support. At this time, we want to assure you that our school remains safe, and there is no immediate danger to our students or staff.
We encourage open communication, so if your child has any concerns or if you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. It is crucial that we work together as a community to foster a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Middle school wrestling starts October 10
If you did a fall sport, you are good to go. If you did NOT do a fall sport make sure your concussion and physical get turned into the office.
FB- The schedule is in flux right now and we are working on changes to complete the season. Monday 14th v BC cancelled, Friday 18th v MC cancelled. We are looking at other options to fill out these games. More Info to come when things get figured out.

The Hardin School District is partnering with The Jed Foundation to conduct an online survey about student well-being, challenges they may face, and their sources of support. We are asking high school students to take the JED High School Student Survey because your insights are crucial for understanding the mental health needs of our student body. By sharing your experiences, you will help us identify areas where support is needed and inform the development of effective programs and resources. The answers from the survey will be used to help our school better understand how to provide quality mental health services for our students, ensuring that everyone has the support they need to thrive. Your participation is invaluable and will contribute to fostering a healthier school environment.
Your students' responses will be kept confidential and secure, and will not be connected with their name, email, or any other information that identifies them. If you allow your student to participate, your student may choose to skip questions or stop participating at any time. The survey typically takes around 30-45 minutes to complete.
If you would not like your student to participate in the survey, please click the link Student Survey Consent Form and complete the opt-out consent form by October 14th. Please include your student’s first name, school email, student ID and the name of our school.
