We join communities across Montana in celebrating American Indian Heritage Day on the last Friday of September. A day to honor the history, cultures, traditions, and contributions of Montana Tribes and to come together as a community.
We are proud to commemorate this important day through our Native American Week activities and All-District Powwow.

The power at the Intermediate, Middle, and High School is currently down. Everyone is safe in classrooms and Northwestern will have power back restored shortly.
Lunch Menu Week of September 21st - 26th
The Middle School Volleyball match scheduled for September 26, in Miles City is being moved to Billings Central High School. Due to scheduling conflicts in Miles City. Bulldogs will start play at 8 am.

HIS is fundraising by selling Double Good popcorn to replenish our Student Activity Fund which helps provide positive behavior rewards through our Bulldog Store and supports our Portrait of a Graduate incentives. These funds allow us to recognize and celebrate students for demonstrating positive behaviors and embodying the qualities we value as Bulldogs.
Our fundraiser will run September 14–21. Directions on creating a pop-up store went home this week and will be posted on Facebook Sunday evening. Thank you for supporting our students and helping us continue to provide meaningful incentives that celebrate their success!

Tonight was the Hardin Homecoming Bonfire. A great tradition that continues to be carried on each year. Remember we have a lot of home sports events this week. Come out and cheer on the Bulldogs.
Thursday- Flag football @ 6:00pm
Friday- Varsity Football @ 6:00 pm
Saturday- All levels of Volleyball starting at 1:00pm.
All Hardin schools will release at 2 pm on Friday for Homecoming. Look for info from your child's school about specific bus details.

This social media trend, involving “Cat in the Hat” content, has affected schools in communities across the country. Much of the content we have identified appears to be AI-generated or digitally altered.
In some cases, posts have referenced specific students. When a student has been identified or referenced in this content, the District has notified the student’s family as soon as the content was identified.
Please know that the safety and well-being of our students and staff is our highest priority, and we take all concerning or potentially disturbing content seriously. School and district administrators are working closely with the Sheriff's Department to investigate the content and take appropriate precautions.
We ask families to remind students that if they see concerning or disturbing social media content, they should not engage with, share, or repost it. Instead, they should immediately report it to a trusted adult, school administrator, or law enforcement.
We also encourage families to speak with their children about responsible social media use and the impact of creating, posting, or sharing concerning or disturbing content. This includes AI-generated or digitally altered images, videos, or posts. Even when something is intended as a joke, it can create significant fear and concern within our schools and community and require substantial school and law enforcement resources to investigate.
The District will continue to monitor the situation closely and will communicate with families if any information is identified that directly impacts our schools, students, or staff.
