Hardin Primary 2nd Graders Field Trip to Chief Plenty Coups this week was a wonderful experience. They learned about the area. Teacher Amy Hanson was one of the guides in one of the stations and guided them through the sacred springs and the house. The park rangers were very accommodating and super friendly to our students. The stations included Tan Hides-In the Museum, Native Games-In the grassy area by the Museum, and Guided Tour of Chief Plenty Coups house and Scared Springs.

Each of our schools in the Hardin District has a student advocate to assist students academically or with any type of basic needs. They have been busy reaching out to the students and families with resources and support. They meet once a month to collaborate and focus on the needs of the students. We appreciate all of them.

Debbie Schoolcraft, a middle school teacher, has been busy this year with her Native American Studies class. She teaches on Plains Indian Sign Language, Oral History Ledger Art, Women Warriors, Modern day Warriors, Stereotypes and Mascots and other great lessons. She also teaches the students how to bead after school. Along with her busy schedule, she helps the other buildings in the district with loom beading. If any students are interested in enrolling in her class next school year, she will be happy to help. Thank you Mrs. Schoolcraft. A'ho

We hope you're ready for summer and the Summer Foods Program. We are happy to announce that we will have a new drop off site in Crow for kiddos that can't make it to the school. We will have a sack breakfast and lunch drop off between 10 am and 11 am at the Upper Housing Turnaround.
Happily we will be running our usual sites as well, with hot breakfast and lunch in both Crow and Hardin. And our drop off sites at the parks and now in Crow!

Please join us tonight for our Portrait of a Graduate Design Team Meeting! 5:30 in the MS.
